Latitia McLaughlin died October 3rd 1849 age 59

Latitia’s obituary in the Newcastle Courant newspaper said she was married to Thomas McLaughlin, but that is all we could find out about her.

She was born about 1790, but there was only one “Letitia “ and no Latitia at all born in the north of England at that time.

There is a Thomas Maclachlan on the 1861 census for Alnwick, listed as living in Bondgate St where Latitia was living at the time of her death.  He  is married then to  “Ann aged 60” and his age is given as 63, so he could have remarried in the intervening years, but may not be the right Thomas McLaughan
