Mixed sessions, and No Undressing!
A collection of cinema adverts is the latest addition to our “Posters and Postcards” section. All are colourful and striking, a few are downright bizarre
Cinemas were a force to be reckoned with in the 1950’s, before television stole a large part of their audience. Milions went every week, so cinema advertising was an important medium for companies and services in Alnwick.
Bailiffgate has archived some of the most attractive, and in some cases to our eyes, pretty odd examples, now to be seen in our “Posters and Postcards” section.
