Bailiffgate is Moving!
Having been successful in raising over £6m, detailed planning work is now underway for the move of Bailiffgate Museum and Gallery to the Northumberland Hall in the centre of Alnwick.
There is substantial work to do on the Grade 1 listed building before it will be suitable for occupation, but the final result will be an exciting new presentation of the history of the area in a convenient central location. Meanwhile this website, Bailiffgate Collections will continue to add areas of the extensive archives that are impractical to offer on continuous display, including the current greatly extended online archive of our toys collection.
