Death and Destruction in Alnmouth

Amongst the over 30 images of old Alnmouth just added to our Collections>Photographs are 3 of the outcome of the Nazi raid on Alnmouth in 1941

Houses on Argyle Street, Alnmouth were damaged by German bombs dropped on November 8th, 1941. Eight people were killed in the raid.
