Enlisted at Alnwick, Northumberland.
Background:
Born about 1894, at Seahouses, Northumberland, the son of John (b. about 1853, at Seahouses; a Herring Fisherman on his own account, presumably owning his own boat) & Mary C. (b. about 1861, also at Seahouses; a Fisherwoman) Clark.
In 1911, Clark, too, was employed as a Herring Fisherman, perhaps working with his father.
