Born 1885, the son of Penement & the late Martha Wood (nÃ©e Stephenson).
In 1911, Wood was a Stonebreaker at the local whinstone quarry. According to Ancestry.co.uk, he was resident at Lesbury which normally embraces Boulmer.
Husband of Mary Wood (nÃ©e Campbell), of Scots Gap, Boulmer, Northumberland. The couple married in 1915.
