Service History:
The only J. H. Wight listed on the CWGC website is a Lieutenant who served with 52nd Battalion of the Canadian Infantry but there is no obvious link between him & Northumberland.

In all, fifty-one men sharing the surname Wight are listed on the CWGC website, a significant number of who have connections with the North East of England & Scottish Borders but none with the wider Alnwick, Amble, Rothbury, & Wooler districts.

The situation is similar on Ancestry.co.uk, again no J. H. Wight listed & none with direct links to the areas of interest.
