Service History:
Enlisted in the Northumberland Hussars on 19 March 1915, at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland (Regimental service #1823). Transferred to the Machine Gun Corps the following September.
Served with the Expeditionary Force in France & Flanders from 13 September, 1916, taking part in the Battles of the Somme, Arras (April 1917), Polygon Wood, & was killed in action near Cambrai 23 November, 1917.
