This is one of only two WW1 P. Tindall's recorded on the CWGC website. Apart from serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers, quite what connection he may have had with the wider Seahouses district is unclear.
Enlisted at Hull, Yorkshire.
Background:
Born at Hull, Yorkshire, the son of John Thomas Tindall (b. about 1850, at Liverpool, Lancashire; in 1911, a Bank Clerk) & his wife, Emma (b. about 1857, at Boston, Lincolnshire).
The 1911 Census records John Thomas & Emma having had eight children, of which six were still living.
Pre-enlistment occupation: Radiator Assembler.
