There are two Bartholomew Thompson's on the Roll of Honour Plaque in the Northumberland Hall, Alnwick, & one was listed on the now lost Roll of Honour of the Alnwick Oddfellows Lodge.
Background:
Born about 1878, the youngest of four children of Christina & the late Thomas Thompson.
The 1891 Census records the family lived in Dispensary Street, Alnwick. Christina is listed as head of the household, which suggests Thomas had already died.
Thompson's siblings were Robert (24, a Grocer); James (16, a Metal Moulder); & Christina (15).
He left a wife, Mary, who lived at 31, Woolmarket, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland.
