Service History:
The Battalion formed at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland in February 1916. In May of that year it moved to Killingworth, Northumberland, then to Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire (September 1916); & Seaton Carew, County Durham (March 1917). It later moved to Ireland.

Brown enlisted at Newcastle.
