Service History:
Enlisted at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland.

Rowan fell during a German attack on the ‘Apex’ position which was part of the trench system in the Bullecourt sector. Casualties were 13 Other Ranks killed & 11 missing. 2 Officers & 32 Other Ranks were wounded.
