Frederick Richard Wilson (1828-1894). F.R. Wilson was an architect. He came to Alnwick from London in the mid-1850s to work on remodelling the Castle and never left. Wilson designed the buildings at Alnwick Cemetery, as well as building or altering a number of churches, chapels, schools and shops in the town.
