Visitors to our Childhood exhibition in the summer of  2024 were invited to provide their most vivid recollection from their own childhood, and to post it on our “Wall”. The age range of respondents was striking, right up to 80 years young. It was clear that these memories were still clearly etched – whether pleasant or in some cases less so. Here are a few of them:
