There is no information on the CWGC website in relation to an Arthur Denmead or similar.

Apart from Craster War Memorial, other limited sources of information are available via Ancestry.co.uk, specifically the UK, Royal Naval Division Index, 1914-1919 & UK, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Service Records Index, 1903-1922.

Background:
Born on 30 January 1897, at Hauxley, near Amble, Northumberland, the third son of William Llewellyn & Sarah Ann Denmead, of 8A, Little Carlton Street, Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset.

Denmead's parents were both born at Weston-Super-Mare, his father in about 1861, & his mother a year later. His father was a Chief Petty Officer serving with H.M. Coastguard.

Five siblings: Ernest John (b. about 1892; at Burnmouth, Berwickshire, Scotland; in 1911, an Assistant in a Boot & Clothier Shop); Florence Rose Gertrude (b. about 1895; also at Burnmouth); Llewellyn (b. about 1896; at Newton-by-the-Sea, Northumberland; in 1911, an Errand Boy at a Private School); Frederick (b. 1900; at Hauxley); & Edith (b. 1902; at Aldborough, Yorkshire). Denmead & his two younger siblings were still at school in 1911.

In 1911, the Denmead family lived at 23, Victoria Street, Southwold, Suffolk.
