Enlisted at Bedlington, Northumberland.
Background:
Born in 1889, at Warkworth, Northumberland, the fifth child of Thomas & Bella Beverley.
Beverley's father was a Miner. In 1891 the family lived at Togston Terrace, Togston, Northumberland. By 1901 they'd moved to nearby Broomhill, where Thomas had been promoted to Deputy Overman. The family was still at Broomhill in 1911.
At some point, Beverley moved to Bedlington where he was residing immediately before enlisting.
Pre-enlistment occupation: Coal Miner.
