1813 handbill regarding tenders for the repair of the Militia Depot in Alnwick. The Depot was on Bondgate Without. In the mid-19th century the Militia moved to the former Workhouse building on Hotspur Street. The Bondgate Without Depot was eventually demolished in 1925 to make way for the Alnwick Playhouse.
