Adam Young was born in the third Quarter of 1884 at Alnwick, the son of Joseph Coxen (b. about 1841) & Martha Patterson (b. about 1848) Young, of 4, West Parade, Alnwick.
The 1891 Census records a family of seven children, four sons & three daughters, with ages ranging from 23 down to 3.
Husband of Elizabeth Jane Young (née Jobling), of Woolsington Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. The couple married in the third Quarter of 1917.
