Enlisted at Alnwick, Northumberland.
The UK, Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects, 1901-1929 (available via Ancestry.co.uk) records a second regimental service number, 2721. Possibly, this could suggest Vosper may have served on the Western Front earlier, been wounded, recuperated in the UK, & given a new service number before being returned to active service in France & Flanders.
The Registers also record the date & place of death as '15.9.16, on or since, death presumed'.
