Died France & Flanders. According to the UK, Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects, 1901-1929 (available via Ancestry.co.uk) 'Death presumed' which probably means he was first reported missing & his body was never found.
Background:
Son of Margaret Taylor, of Rock, Alnwick & the late William Taylor.
